This time of year I am always excited to see who won and if I have read all the books. I was suprised this year because one of my favorite books, Hunger Games, did not even win a Printz Honor.

The Newbery Medal: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

The Printz Award went to Jellicoe Road which I haven't read but I will soon remedy that!

One of my favorite awards is the Alex awards. This award goes to adult books that have YA appeal. That list is here. It looks like we have a couple of these books in our library already, so come check them out.
